Like walking on a dream.
Imagine swaying gently with the trees, you feel the breeze caressing all around, above and below you. Your entire being is held, the web perfectly contours to you. As you walk, climb and bounce the entire web vibrates and flexes as one. It feels comforting and exhilarating simultaneously. It is a place you can fully relax, exhale, and just be.
They are exceptionally safe and strong
Our tree nets are engineered to be strong, durable and flexible. We use high quality Arborist rope rated to 5,000-9,000 lbs. for our perimeter lines. The web itself is woven from paracord rated to 550 lbs, or sometimes tubular nylon webbing rated to 4,000+. Every web is anchored securely in many places using high strength anchor points. We prefer to weave side walls whenever possible for added security and comfort.
Once woven, there is essentially no concern about an upper weight limit for people.
Our webs are safe and delightful for all ages. Kids LOVE them. It is an immersive play space unlike anything else. When an installation is intended for lots of use by children, we like to take a few extra steps. Some of those steps can include:
-Higher walls
-Totally enclosed play nests, tunnels, walkways etc. especially at higher heights.
-Tighter weaves on floors for small feet.
-Ensuring there are no gaps large enough for little ones to fall out of, or get accidentally stuck in.
-Weaving swings, attaching extra rings, climbing handholds etc.
Each treenet is a hand woven piece of functional art. More detailed information is available on our contact/pricing page.
For a general idea:
$5,000-$10,000 - Small scale - Elegantly simple webs, indoor loft spaces, cozy little nests, decorative rope sculptures.
$15,000-$30,000 - Medium scale - Immersive 3D spaces, larger platforms / multiple levels, dynamic safe play spaces.
$30,000+ - Large scale - Intricately woven temples, lavish attention to artistic details, multi-dimensional sculptural designs, ambient lighting etc.
The timeline can vary wildly depending on the scale, accessibility, height, and intricacy.
Smaller webs can sometimes be woven in a handful of days.
Mid sized webs can take a few weeks.
Large or particularly intricate webs may take several weeks to a month or more.
During our consultation, we can get a rough idea of timelines.
We strive our best to complete projects in the most efficient manner possible while never compromising on quality. We don't rush the creative process, and each web is a new engineering and design challenge. No two are alike.
Yes! We take the health and safety of our tree and animal friends very seriously. We only attach to healthy trees, using wooden blocks to prevent possible harm or girdling to the trees. We use mimimal metal hardware whenever possible. The inherently flexible nature of our webs allows the trees to sway and move how they need to.
We have never had any issues with wildlife. Our webs are extremely taut like a trampoline so there is no possibility of them wrapping around animals. We've seen birds and squirrels playing on them, and deer will come up and check them out occassionally. They are designed to be in harmony with their environment.
We are located in the Pacific Northwest, USA. We are both willing and excited to travel worldwide and domestically for projects. Our webs are inherently site specific, and need to be created where they will be living.
If you have a guest house, or bungalow etc. That is ideal. Otherwise, we love the outdoors and are more than happy to camp on site.
If that isn't possible due to whatever factors (Bad weather, in a large city etc.) We will arrange accommodations for ourselves. If you are able to provide accommodations for us, it can reduce the overall price of your installation, and we deeply appreciate it, but it isn't necessary.
Ultimately, each project and each client are unique, and we will figure out the most mutally beneficial arrangement during our consultation.
It depends on a variety of factors, UV/Sun exposure and usage are the main factors. Especially UV exposure. On average, a private installion with some sun exposure will last 6-8 years. In full shade with gentle weather or indoors 10+ years is possible. Commercial applications with high traffic 3-5 years (Think playgrounds, farmers markets etc.)

It is our utmost priority to ensure your complete satisfaction with your web, and to exceed client expectations. We do require every client to sign a release of liability waiver form that states we are not responsible for any: Issues, injuries, or damages due to overall use, weathering, animals, weather, or unforeseen natural events.
If your web is damaged, please contact us and we will try our best to make it out to you for major repairs. Repairs are their own service, cost dependent on circumstances and extent of damages.
Yes. It is actually a surprisingly fast process. Sometimes just a few hours. We pride ourselves on prioritizing the health of the trees we work with. All webbing and blocks can be removed. Depending on the circumstances anchor points can be removed, but it is often better for the health of the tree to leave all or part of the stainless steel hardware in place so as to not create open wounds.
So many! paracord comes in literally hundreds of different colors and patterns. Anything from UV reactive neon rainbow to glow in the dark to subdued camouflage colors and everything in between. We can even work with a manufacturer to create totally custom colors and patterns for you.
The perimeter rope color options are more limited but still extensive. Rest assured we will find a color that works with the rest of the palette.
Tubular climbing strap webbing is mainly available in primary colors, very dark, or very bright.
For hardware, we use only stainless steel, but it is possible to get most hardware in black if you want that.
Important note:
Lighter colors tend to fade more rapidly with UV exposure.
Darker colors stay saturated longer.
